South Africa are through

Hi everyone,

Good news (for some), South Africa are into the semi-finals. The easily beat England yesterday in 19 overs. Graeme Smith was the points guy of the day, along with Hall who took 5 wickets. Anyone with either of these two players did very well. Missy had a nice jump with Graeme Smith as her captain once again.

The semi-final games will most likely be South Africa - Australia and Sri Lanka - New Zealand. This could change if New Zealand beat Australia in the game on the 20th, but it is not likely.

It is going to be difficult for people to make big changes in position at this point with so few games remaining. A lot of people have saved trades for the final games, it will be interesting to see how much of a difference this makes. The Sri lanka - Ireland game has just started, which could be an interesting one.

Talk to you this evening,
Ciao,
Michael

The prizes look great, but I doubt the shirt is big enough for me.

That's okay, but can you catch a ball?

Well done there, prize hunters!
Now, I'm not sure about the water bottle crashing thing, but what I do know is absolutely essential to enjoying a good game of cricket is the vuvuzela. That long, skinny extended trumpet looking thing that sounds a bit like a strangled didgeridoo (sp?). I'll send one over for the trip to Lords. Just the thing. The person with the most puckered lips will be able to play it best.

I suppose I should add that the original form of the vuvuzela was a kudu horn used to summon the people of a tribe to a communal meeting. When hunting was curtailed during the 20th century, they were made of tin. Now they're made of plastic which, as everyone knows, goes really well with Earl Grey and cucumber sarmies.
