South Africa Shocker

Well South Africa have managed to provide an unimaginable yet inevitable shock to the world cup. They have lost to Bangladesh in awesome style, it was not even close. I did not see the game, but the score card said it all. South Africa have moved down from the number 1 rank in ODI cricket to number two after this defeat.

Unfortunately the worm has not been updated yet as the new scores are not on the site. I will post the new worm up tomorrow at some point, although Graeme looks to score well with the Ms today.

EDIT: Here's the chart...

Michael and Graeme each did well today, Graeme because of the M's and Michael because of the South Africans. As everyone can see, I did particularly well today, lets hope it stays that way.

Very Happy Easter to everyone, and I hope everyone gets a lot of points in the near future.

I am very determinedly going to say absolutely nothing about the cricket - except: sigh. May the GlobeTrottingDuoKaty&Michael have a fine old time in spite of the cricket. Happy birthday to Katy. Happy anniversary to Cath and Henry. Happy Easter to everyone.

Happy Easter from California. It's a fine day here. We're having a picnic and going hot tubing in our back yard.
We sent Katy and Michael off last night. They weren't looking forward to the long flight. They should still be in the air as I type.
They said they would give my regards to some of the players and maybe get an autograph or two.

A belated Happy Easter to you all from New York. And nice that you are having fine weather in California - it is bitterly cold here on the east coast. Yes, what a shock loss that was from SA - maybe that will make them play better when Katy and Michael get to see them. Thanks for the anniversary wishes Moira. And well done to Paul for carrying on the blog tradition in such fine style. Let's see what the next game brings.
