Good effort, but not good enough...

England created a very good chance for themselves today with excellent batting from Bell and Pieterson. However the side was let down by the rest of the line up as nobody was able to create any big partnerships down the order. And maybe someone should throw Vaughan in the rubbish because he certainly plays cricket with a similar degree of skill. Without further adieu here are the standings..

Things are certainly beginning to hot up around the top of the table with excellent results from Missy and Sarah. Close but no cigar however :). Henry made a good attempt at overtaking the mid section, while Graeme obviously had the disadvantage of the english speaking nations playing.

Ireland and New Zealand are playing tomorrow, should be another one sided affair, but you never know in this day and age. See you all tomorrow for another bout of Picket, thats.. Paul Cricket.

Well yippee - New Zealand are playing today. Let's hope all my NZ players do well. Watch out you'all at the top of the league. I like your suggestion about Vaughan, Paul.
